New Kawai hybrid pianos

These are pianos that combine digital and acoustic elements in one instrument, providing the best of both worlds. Kawai are the leaders in this technology, and their range of Hybrid pianos caters to a wide range of possible scenarios.

Kawai Novus

Pure digital sound production using genuine acoustic grand and upright mechanisms and damper / pedal systems.

Kawai Aures

Acoustic uprights from the Kawai K-Hundred premium range with a full digital piano built in as with the Anytime X3 above. The AURES, however, also has Kawai’s proprietary Soundboard Speaker System. This allows you to play in the digital mode without headphones, with the sound projected through a high end speaker system that utilises the natural tone of the piano’s spruce soundboard.

You can also play any other music through your piano. An acoustic piano soundboard is perhaps the best speaker possible, and Kawai have harnessed this to integrate the piano as a core part of any and all music you enjoy.

Kawai ATX (Anytime)

AnyTimeX3

Acoustic uprights from the Kawai K-Hundred premium range with a full digital piano built in. You can switch between acoustic and digital mode, with the piano being “Silent” when playing digitally with headphones. You can also record, play other instruments and have access to the digital sample base of other Kawai grands, such as their concert EX.

AnyTimeX2

Acoustic grand pianos from the GL and GX Kawai range with a full digital piano built in, allowing you to switch to digital mode and play silently while still playing on your grand piano mechanism. This allows you to record, play other instruments and have access to the digital sample base of other Kawai grands, such as their concert EX.
