Kawai GL-40 grand

The GL-40 is Kawai’s upgrade from their rather famous RX-2 that was a dominant player in the institutional grand piano market from the late 90’s right up until 2013, 2014. The GL-40 is approximately the same size as the RX-2 and a lot of the same features have been retained. One of the biggest upgrades to the GL-40 has been its action and the exclusive Core system, limited to Kawai GL40 and GL50 models, that allows for a greater bass resonance and enhanced tonal presence.
